When we attended the Crimson Trace Midnight 3-Gun Invitational last August, we enjoyed an opportunity to meet up with RP Advanced Mobile Systems and test the all new RP Can Am Commander SXS Tactical in the Central Oregon desert. Needless to say, we had a blast putting the vehicle through its paces as we tested for reliability, durability and capabilities. As expected, the Commander met all the challenges we could put in front of it while taking us for an awesome ride!
In this video, Nick Mooers provides viewers with a tour of the vehicle highlighting many of its unique features and configuration advantages. As you’ll see, the Commander really performs well under stress, even in the desert heat, which reached into the upper 90’s F during both days of testing.

The RPAMS Can Am Commander SXS Tactical delivers with a 1,000cc Rotax engine, pumping 86 horses. On the front, the Commander is wearing a set of rubber push bumpers and lurking just behind the bumpers is a WARN Industries winch powerful enough to get you out of almost any situation. Multipurpose track borders the hood of the vehicle allowing for plenty of tie-off access points and carrying of gear.

Ready to roll, the Commander sits on RPAMS SOF 12-ply run-flat tires, which can be run up to about 40 MPH even with no air in them. Very impressive when supported by the MSI Defense series suspension kit!
