Get your own James Madison Tactical 80% lower kit for under a hundred bucks. Jig included.
Many of you who are avid gun owners have been following the recent raids by the ATF in California on ARES Armor and EP Armory. EP Armory is the manufacturer of an 80% Polymer lower receiver that was sold through firearms dealer ARES Armor. The ATF is contending that the 80% Polymer lowers started life out as 100% finished and then was back filled. You can follow more information at http://www.eparmory.com/Current-News-s/1845.htm and http://aresarmor.com/store/NewsArticle/Letter-to-ATF-Director
Another player in the 80% polymer game is James Madison Tactical (JMT) based out of Richland, Washington. What sets JMT apart from the others is that their kit, which costs under $100 bucks includes the jig needed to finish the lower. A truly amazing deal considering all that is included.
In speaking with the brass at JMT, they have not heard from the ATF at this point and don’t plan to anytime soon, but if the time comes and the ATF fixes their sights on JMT, these lowers are going to be gone.
JMT recently updated their product offering by releasing their popular lower in dark earth and OD green. Both colors are a near match to Magpul’s colors and as you can see in the photos, the colors look awesome.
Currently Rainier Arms is a stocking dealer for JMT and they have stock on all three colors, black, FDE and OD.
If you have never completed an 80% lower, JMT has made it easy by producing a complete how-to video series.
James Madison Tactical (JMT) is a derivative of an Aerospace pioneering company responsible for the engineering, design and manufacturer of the ViperJet. They are the sole designer and manufacturer of the United States made poly carbon 80% lower and are currently accepting new dealers for a limited time.
