We recently came across three new folding blade styles from CRKT, each crafted for daily use and carry and each carrying its own unique style and personality.

First up is the Padawan Frame Lock. Designed by Pedro Buzetti in Presidente Prudente, Brazil, it retains the original Padawan’s 12C28N blade steel and the smooth-opening IKBS ball-bearing pivot.
The newest Padawan is designed to elevate the knife with a refined aesthetic and premium materials like a wear-resistant carbon fiber overlay on the stainless steel handle. It deploys quickly with a flipper and features a brushed TiN-coated black blade.

Next, the LCK+ brings a sleek, linear design and combines it with high-performance materials in the latest iteration of this folder. A manual flipper tab deploys the blade via IKBS ball-bearing pivot.
Designed by Matthew Lerch, the streamlined design seamlessly merges the drop-point blade into the textured G10 handle for a blade that looks as good as it performs.

Finally, we have the Ritual Compact. Featuring a shorter blade than the original Ritual, at just over three inches, like its predecessor it is inspired by old-world Persian blades.
Designed by Alan Folts in Melbourne, Florida, the Ritual Compact is a folding knife designed for daily use, with Assisted Opening and the signature IKBS bearing pivot. A micarta handle with stainless steel bolster combines strength and stunning good looks.
Of the Ritual, CRKT says it’s perfect for doing battle in ancient Persia—or just for making quick work of that package on your doorstep.
