PEORIA, Ariz. – Apex Tactical Specialties is pleased to announce the introduction of its replacement striker for the striker-fired model pistols from FN. Machined from a billet of stainless steel and heat treated for enhanced durability, the Apex Heavy Duty Striker works in all current models of the FN 509, as well as the FNS and FNS Compact pistols. It is available now for pre-order with orders scheduled to begin shipping on Tuesday, August 6.
The new Apex Heavy Duty Striker is easy to install, utilizing the following components of the factory striker assembly: striker spring stop, striker spring stop pin, striker return spring and striker spring guide.
