When you’re working on a new 10/22 build—something we ourselves have been mulling over lately—once you’ve got your chassis and receiver figured out you’ll need a quality barrel to really anchor the build.
Ballistic Advantage directed our attention to their new line of improved rimfire barrels for 10/22 applications. They are engineered and manufactured to offer significant improvements over the standard Ruger barrel, including better bore alignment and improved feeding and ejection of cartridges.

Each barrel features premium steel construction and is endowed with a Bentz chamber—tighter than a standard sporting chamber but not quite as tight as a true match chamber to allow for reliable function while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
Various profiles are available: straight sporter, spiral fluted, and straight fluted. A 1/16 twist is standard and varying lengths are on offer—8, 10, 12, and 16.1 inches—to match your preferred application.

These barrels are designed as a direct-fit replacement for your 10/22 and include standard muzzle threading at the end to facilitate the installation of your choice of muzzle device. A thread protector is included.
