Guns & Tactics attended the International Security and National Resilience (ISNR) exhibition and conference this past week. This unique event brings together an entire spectrum of homeland security topics under one roof in one truly amazing location of the Middle East.
Held in one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited, Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, also one of the fastest growing homeland security (HLS) markets in the world, ISNR is organized in association with the UAE Ministry of Interior. The event is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces.
We took our cameras to the event to bring you the latest and news about some of the most interesting products and services. And there was plenty of it for us to see! In particular, the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ were a fun group to meet as we toured their mobile command centers. Emirates Fire and Rescue units were of interest as well with their very specialized desert vehicles, cutting equipment and emergency rescue gear.

Another fantastic experience at the show was the presence of Tawazun, a strategic investment holding company focused on defense and specialized manufacturing. The Tawazun stage was packed with notable spectators checking out the latest pistols and rifles, ammunition and the very awesome NIMR wheeled vehicle.
We also met with the folks at BAE Systems to see their amazing RG12 Armoured multi-purpose security vehicle. And, just down the isle a bit we found International Armored Group (IAG) boasting their latest armored vehicle solutions, too.
Aside from the exhibitors, it was a great opportunity for us to visit yet another country for an exciting week of Guns & Tactics. If you don’t know much about the UAE, I can assure you that it is an amazing place. The People of UAE are very friendly and accepting of others, and the city itself offers any tourist some of the best of everything the world has to offer.
Stay tuned to our website and Facebook page for upcoming video segments presenting more about our fun and exciting experiences in Abu Dhabi and ISNR 2012.
