The RXM semi-automatic pistol was the result of a deep collaboration between Ruger and Magpul, featuring high modularity with, among other things, a removable Fire Control Insert (FCI) installed within a Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip (EHG) for flexible customization.
According to Magpul, the handgun was designed to be “easy in every way”—easy to shoot, easy to manipulate, easy to customize, easy on the eyes, and easy on your wallet.

Ruger handled the mechanical parts, and Magpul designed the EHG, which includes new aftermarket versions available in various colors. Now current RXM shooters, or new buyers, can take the fire control and put it in an all-new EHG RG9 to change the firearm’s fit and feel, all for about $40.
These newest RXM EHGs allow the pistol to transform into a duty or competition-sized gun with the Full-Size RXM EHG, or to be converted into an even smaller footprint for concealed carry using the Sub-Compact RXM EHG.
Both variants will come in original EHG colors with everything installed directly by Magpul. Both options include Magpul’s ¾-scale TSP on the front strap, backstrap, side panels, and forward index pads.

Each also includes a universal light/laser accessory rail, a trigger guard undercut to allow a high grip and enhanced comfort, a magazine-release scallop… and every EHG is compatible with both Magpul GL9 or OEM Glock magazines.
If you want to further modify your grip for a specific purpose, each can also accept most Gen3 Glock magazine and slide-stop components, as well as interface with many available holsters and other parts.
Each EHG ships with a mag release and spring, slide lock spring, and takedown pin spring (all from Ruger and installed at Magpul). And of course, each is built from strong, rigid, injection-molded signature Magpul polymer.
Magpul EHG RG9 features include:
