Side Folding Extruded Stock
The MI Side Folder takes design cues from traditional AK-47 triangular buttstocks, but it includes modern features and functions for an enhanced user experience. Its curved top surface creates a smooth cheek weld, while the rigid, skeletonized triangular design and solid lockup combine the stability of a fixed stock with the compact utility of a folder. Other features include a heavy duty folding mechanism constructed from 4140 heat-treated steel, a full-length locking lug with solid positive lock-up in both positions, and a steel clamp with large surface engagement. The stock itself is constructed from hardcoat-anodized 6061 aluminum and the complete assembly weighs 15.5 ounces. When deployed, it adds 9 inches to the firearm’s overall length and three-quarters of an inch when stowed at the side. It can be configured for right or left folding.
