This past SHOT Show, Midwest Industries presented revolver enthusiasts with a new way to shoot, deploy and enjoy their favorite wheelguns.
The Bounty Hunter Series is what they call a groundbreaking new system that customizes revolvers and convert them into a holistic system for hunting or personal defense. The Bounty Hunter system offers more points of contact, steadier shooting, improved comfort, and easy takedown for storage and transport.
Overall, it transforms the revolver into a more stable and more customizable platform, and we here at UN12 are here for it.
The patent-pending Bounty Hunter lineup features a durable framework—you might even call it a chassis—fashioned from 6061 hardcoat-anodized aluminum, comprising grip, stock, and “Z-beam.” This delivers lightweight strength and “uncompromising performance” for serious revolver shooters.
Additionally, textured polymer grip panels, a polymer cheek piece, and a rubber butt pad combine to provide superior recoil management and comfort during extended shoot sessions.
Designed for both small and large caliber revolvers, the system is also meant to enhance stability and accuracy while aligning naturally with both iron sights and red dot mounts.
Other notable features include a shell plate holder with three universal shell holders (accommodating up to six rounds of any caliber), a hardened steel takedown thumb screw for quick disassembly, and five QD sling sockets offering users a slew of customizable carry options.
Taken together, the elements of the Bounty Hunter Series make it a versatile solution for wheelgun enthusiasts who want improved ergonomics, fast access to ammunition, and a compact takedown configuration for easy transport and storage.
According to Midwest Industries founder Troy Storch: “As revolver enthusiasts ourselves, we wanted to create a system that gives shooters a fresh and exciting way to enjoy these classic firearms. The Bounty Hunter Series transforms the traditional revolver into a more stable, customizable, practical platform built with American-made quality.”
