Springfield Armory Announces Release of 10-Round Hellcat Pro 9mm
GENESEO, ILL. (3/21/23) – Springfield Armory® is proud to announce the new 10-round Hellcat® Pro 9mm pistol. This new offering provides those in locales requiring restricted capacities an opportunity to own a popular EDC pistol that combines the performance of a larger handgun with class-leading concealability.
The 10-round Hellcat Pro is a compact pistol chambered in 9mm that offers impressive handling and shooting characteristics while still maintaining the ergonomic, slim profile of the original Hellcat for seamless concealability. At just 1″ wide, the slim-line grip feels superb in the hand, increasing contact and control, while the additional mass in the slide and barrel translates into reduced muzzle flip and faster follow-up shots.
The polymer frame of the pistol features Adaptive Grip Texture™, a seamless, pressure-activated texture featuring a pattern of staggered pyramid shapes. The taller pyramids have a flattened top to ensure comfort in the waistband, while the shorter pyramids come to a point and are engaged when the pistol is firmly gripped.
The 10-round Hellcat Pro features an OSP™ (Optical Sight Pistol) configuration, with a slide milled with the Springfield Micro™ footprint that will accept Shield RMSc- and SMSc-pattern optics. This configuration is designed to direct mount optics for the lowest mount possible. Backing up your choice of optic is an excellent set of co-witnessing U-Dot™ sights, made up of a high visibility tritium & luminescent front sight paired with a Tactical Rack rear sight.
Ensuring you can mount the light or laser of your choice on the 10-round Hellcat Pro, the pistol features a versatile Picatinny rail on the dustcover portion of the frame. This section of rail provides users the flexibility to deploy a wide range of accessories for varied applications and conditions.
