TangoDown Inc. has announced the latest addition to its lineup for Glock—the Vickers Tactical Magazine Release for Glock 43X and 48 (GMR-007M).
Since Glock introduced its 43X and 48 models, slimmed-down with a profile optimized for concealed carry, their popularity as EDC firearms has grown extensively. But capacity was always a concern using the standard 10-round magazines.
The aftermarket responded with steel-walled magazines that allowed a double-stack format compared to the thick factory polymer units. Glock took note and released its own 15-round steel magazines. And TangoDown decided it was time to release an updated version of its mag release specifically for this platform.
TangoDown’s GMR-007M offers the standard features the company’s other magazine releases are known for—specifically, ergonomic improvements like an extended, curved profile. This updated version of the original GMR-007 allows for use with the original Glock 10-round polymer magazines as well as the new 15-round steel magazines.
The GMR-007M fits Glock models 43X and 48 only. Certified Glock Armorer or professional gunsmith installation is recommended.
GMR-007M features:
- Extended and contoured, allows easy magazine release without shifting firing grip
- Injection molded from same material as OEM factory part
- Compatible with Glock factory 10-round polymer magazines and factory 15-round steel magazines
