Elite shooter earns top honors in New Jersey competition
Smyrna, Ga. (gunsandtactics.com) – Team GLOCK member K.C. Eusebio excelled against impressive competitors in his first Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA) match of the 2012 season. Eusebio earned top honors using a SJC Customs GLOCK G17 Open pistol in the tightly contested Open Division of the 10th Annual World Class Steel “Speed on Steel” match held at the Old Bridge Rifle and Pistol Club in Old Bridge, N.J. on June 1, 2012.
“The match meant a lot to me knowing several of my most fierce competitors were aiming for first place,” said Eusebio. “I had a rough start but held my composure to ensure my first steel challenge victory with my Open GLOCK.”
The competition included seven stages over the weekend event. Eusebio took High Overall and first in Open Centerfire Pistol with a time of 69.66.
Team GLOCK’s next match is the IDPA Carolina Cup in Oxford, N.C. on June 14-15. Tori Nonaka will compete against some of the industry’s best shooters in this self-defense scenario event. Eusebio will head to Piru, Calif. on June 15-16 to compete in the West Coast Steel Challenge.
