We love checking out the latest gun photos as we check the world wide web each day for the latest firearms news and headlines. Lately, we’ve been surfing the US Military’s photostreams. With lots of gun photos and images of operational activities, it’s easy yo get a real understanding of what it might be like to serve in today’s armed forces.
For the most part, military photographers are soldiers and sailors who’ve enlisted into the armed forces and attended boot camp just like everyone else. However, after initial training these lucky men and women attend specialized schools that prepare them as journalists for some of the most amazing stories they’ll tackle. We found several posts that indicated being a photographer in the military is one of the best opportunities ever!
Here’s a few links to our favorite photostreams so you can enjoy the photos too!

One of the best parts of this gig is the learning. Always a student, no matter your knowledge base…there’s always someone out there that knows more than you. In my case, there are scores of people that have forgotten more than I’ll ever know, so I count myself fortunate to be able to have the opportunity to talk with them.
