Clint Upchurch, Colt’s Manufacturing Company LLC’s sponsored 3-gun shooter, will be featured on the NBC Sports Network show “Hot Shots.”
Upchurch will first appear on the show during the episode airing this Sunday, March 11, and is likely to be seen throughout the remainder of the season.
“We are very proud of Clint for being chosen to appear on Hot Shots,” said Joyce Rubino, Vice President of Marketing for Colt’s Manufacturing Company, “He is a great representative for Colt and the 3-gun nation.”
While filming a segment on shooter Jerry Miculek, currently profiled on “Hot Shots,” producers met Upchurch.
“Of course his shooting skills are impressive, but beyond that he is just a humble, all-American guy who has a great story to tell about becoming a part of Colt,” said Brian Speciale, President of “Hot Shots,” “When we looked to introduce 3-gun shooting on the show, it was obvious that Upchurch was the shooter we wanted to profile.”
“I am thrilled to be part of this show,” said Upchurch, “Millions of people who may not otherwise be exposed to the sport of shooting will be able to see that it is a safe, fun sport with lots of talented and dedicated competitors.”
Hot Shots airs on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. EST on the new NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus). You can watch a preview of Upchurch’s appearance on Hot Shots on the show’s YouTube channel, youtube.com/HotShotsNBC.
