Dave is the primary on-camera personality and content creator at Guns & Tactics. His experience the in firearms industry, training, law enforcement and media spans more than two decades. He is a proud retired law enforcement officer, having served as a Patrol Sergeant, use of force instructor, and firearms trainer. During that time, he provided department communication to the public and news media and began creating online content in his “spare time.” He joined the Guns & Tactics team full time after retiring from law enforcement following 20 years of decorated service.
Like most of you, I enjoy kick-ass action movies. It is not uncommon to see classic James Bond or modern day Jason Bourne creeping up on some unsuspecting bad guy then eliminating him with a quick triple tap, where only the gentle “pfftt, pfftt, pfftt” is heard from their sound suppressed pistol. Or maybe they need to engage a target at distance with some high-speed, low-drag break-down rifle they piece together out of an unassuming backpack.
