GRINNELL, Iowa (January 13, 2022) – Brownells invites SHOT Show attendees to visit booth #13066 in the recently-renamed Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, January 18 through 21, to see the newest products and meet notable industry personalities.
Brownells products announced at SHOT Show 2022 include:
Brand new for 2022 is the latest addition to the Match Precision Optic scope line, the MPO 1-6X Donut.
With an illuminated circle reticle inspired by the classic optic on the original Austrian StG 77 rifle, the MPO 1-6X Donut has high-quality Japanese glass and comes with a throw lever installed for fast changes between magnification settings.
An LPVO ideal for use on AR-15s and other modern rifles, the MPO 1-6X Donut makes quick targeting simple and intuitive and has wind-hold hash marks on each side of the circle reticle.
The Donut should be in stock and available for purchase shortly after SHOT Show, and will come by itself, or packaged with a Brownells 30mm cantilever scope mount for Picatinny rail.
Designed to replicate the contours of the original AR-180 folding stock, the black polymer Brownells folding stock attaches to any Picatinny rail segment, such as found on the rear of BRN-180 lower receivers.
It folds to the left to not obstruct the ejection port and should be available for purchase by March 2022.
In stock and shipping now, the Gen 2 BRN-180 Sport upper was previously unveiled during the 2021 Black Rifle Friday event.
Optimized for use with modern optics and red dot sights, the BRN-180 Sport has a truncated charging handle different from the original AR-180 style charging handle. It also lacks a dust cover to function properly with the new charging handle.

Perfecting the Tavor with the Geissele Lightning Bow Trigger. I likely never would have bought a Tavor if it wasn’t for Steve Coulston. Man that guy has everything….
In this Tactical Moment episode John discusses “stoppages.” A stoppage is a momentary cessation of the firearm. When you pull the trigger and hear a click instead of a bang, then you know something is wrong. Applying “immediate action” could be the fastest way to fix the problem and get back in the gunfight. Watch this video to learn how to manage a firearms stoppage by applying the immediate action technique.
Easy on, easy off, and built to fit seamlessly onto your rifle, the Micro6x Magnifier delivers an incredibly compact 6x optical system.
The newest addition, the Magpul DAKA Lite Pouch, (small, medium, large) was designed to be lightweight and highly packable.
Deciding which handgun to purchase can be quite the process, especially if that firearm is going to be used for defense or competition. The handgun itself is usually not a cheap investment and if you are like me, new sights a light, and possibly some other upgrades are usually not too far behind. By the time you get those things accomplished and spend the time training to being able to run that firearm adequately the amount of hours it has spent on your person or in your hand practically makes it part of the family. And the same goes for a holster.
As a long time owner of the SU-16CA, I was excited when Kel-Tec announced the SU-16C model late last year. The SU-16 platform is a compact, lightweight 5.56 platform that takes standard AR-15 magazines. With five models to choose from, it can get a little confusing what features each model has. For those who are not familiar with the nomenclature of the SU-16, I’ve broken it down for you…
