Here’s a new solution to help seamlessly incorporate ballistic protection into your everyday-carry loadout. Traditional backpack body armor typically focuses on back protection, leaving the wearer’s front exposed and compromising mobility by creating a front-to-rear weight imbalance.
Bodyguard Concealed Armor Systems armored backpacks address these issues through an innovative “conceal and deployment” system. Available in a few different styles, the packs resemble conventional backpacks but stow away their armor components neatly and effectively stage them to be deployed as needed. This allows the wearer to maintain an unobtrusive appearance and makes them usable to anyone, anywhere.

The pack itself functions like any standard backpack. Each is suitable for everyday use and for carrying and stowing everyday carry items. They are equipped with a dedicated laptop compartment, a front pocket, two fabric compartments, and expandable side pockets for smaller items and water bottles. A hook-and-loop cummerbund is included for additional support.
The integrated armor system, however, is what sets these packs apart from the rest. Nestled between the main compartment and the padded back support there’s a dedicated compartment for your body armor plates—the rear plate situated directly behind the shoulder straps and the front chest plate in a secondary compartment.
The method for armor deployment is designed to be swift and straightforward. Before use, the user inserts his or her desired hard or soft plates into their designated compartments.
The front plate is stored upside-down and is easily deployed by pulling the two ripcords integrated with the shoulder straps, releasing the armor plate and allowing the user to flip the chest plate into position by simply lifting and lowering his or her arms. The straps may be left hanging loose or can be attached to the waist belt for additional stability.

When deployment of the armor becomes necessary, the user employs the integrated ripcords, pulling the entire assembly straight up with enough force to release them from the hook-and-loop attachments and to release the chest piece from its enclosure.
With arms extended upward, the user pulls the cords over the head to the front of the torso, essentially moving the chest plate forward of the body. The final step is pulling the arms downward while extending them to place the chest piece directly in front and against the body: Pull, Push, Down, Back.
Re-securing the chest plate involves reversing the deployment steps—the chest piece goes back into its compartment upside-down, ensuring the pull cords are properly reattached to the backpack shoulder straps for future use.
The integration of MOLLE loops also allows for carrying additional gear, firearms, or magazines on the chest, enhancing readiness and accessibility and providing ample room in the armor storage compartment.

Bodyguard packs are designed for quick deployment. Using one can prepare a user for defensive and offensive situations in seconds while maintaining an ordinary backpack’s unassuming appearance and everyday utility.
The seamless blend of functionality and discretion makes a pack like this an essential tool for anyone seeking fast, reliable protection. Additionally, they are 100% TSA compliant for “Friction-Free” travel. Three styles are currently available: Elite, Switchblade, and First Responder.
