Magpul—Hunter Lite Stock for Ruger American Short Action
The Magpul Hunter Lite line of stocks is expanding with a third version for the Ruger American chambered for short-action cartridges. Weighing roughly 2.5 pounds, Magpul claims this Hunter Lite is as light as they could make it without compromising features or signature build quality.
This Hunter Lite is designed around most of the same standout features from other Hunter Lite variants. These include the V-bedding block, adjustable length of pull and comb height, and the capability of hosting AICS-pattern magazines.
Magpul’s Hunter Lite for Ruger American short action can be configured for both right- and left-handed shooters with a reversible inlet insert to change the action orientation. The aluminum V-bedding block prevents compression and deformation that might otherwise compromise accuracy.
Along with the adjustable LOP and comb height, this Hunter Lite is packed with details to enhance its functionality like an enlarged trigger guard, integral sling swivel studs, and an ambidextrous mag release.
Of course it also features Magpul’s M-LOK slots for easy attachment of accessories. The Hunter Lite for Ruger American fits both Gen I and Gen II variants. It will be available in black, FDE or ODG.
