Diamondback Firearms has announced a collaboration with TALO Distributors to produce and bring to market two exclusive small-frame SDRs—the Self Defense Revolver.
The 2-inch model marks the first release of an SDR with a bobbed hammer, making it a great choice for discreet EDC and an enhanced snag-free draw. Both the 2-inch and 3-inch SDRs are chambered in .357 Magnum/.38 Special +P, with premium construction for performance and reliability.

Each revolver is built with a Black Nitride+ forged stainless steel frame, a stainless bead-blasted cylinder, and a Hogue black rubber grip for exceptional comfort and control. With a durable finish and compact dimensions, both models are engineered to excel in self-defense and everyday-carry applications.
According to Diamondback Sales & Business Development Manager Simon McCartney: “The 2″ bobbed hammer model is a first for our SDR line; it offers customers an optimal blend of concealability, comfort, and control. Working with TALO allows us to bring truly distinctive products to market that reflect our shared commitment to innovation and customer choice.”
TALO Executive Director Kane Cannedy adds: “Our mission has always been to deliver unique and desirable firearms to our dealer network. These exclusive Diamondback SDRs bring together style, performance, and everyday practicality. We’re proud to collaborate and provide our customers with revolvers that stand apart in today’s market.”
