German Precision Optics’ Passion APO is a high-performance compact spotting scope designed and built for outdoor enthusiasts, hunters, birders, and anyone else who wants premium performance without unnecessary bulk.
The Passion APO 16-48×65 is engineered to offer an ideal blend of portability and performance. Designed as a more compact alternative to the APO 20-60x85mm spotting scope, the Passion APO claims to maintain best-in-class optical technology, robust construction and precise engineering—in a more pack-friendly size.

The Passion APO is built with a lightweight internal magnesium core and protective rubber armoring and it’s designed to withstand extreme environments. With apochromatic (APO) lenses, it virtually eliminates chromatic aberration for utmost image clarity.
Utilizing trademark GPObright high-transmission coatings, the Passion APO 65mm also ensures superb light transmission so every visual detail comes through crisp and bright.
A precision-machined helical brass gear focus system offers smooth and accurate focus in the field, even while the user is wearing gloves, and a built-in sunshade is included to reduce glare in bright lighting conditions.
Finally, the locking rotational tripod base allows the user to position the scope exactly in the manner needed for maximum viewing comfort and usability.

According to Mike Jensen, GPO USA owner and CEO: “Delivering professional-grade clarity in an ultra-portable design, the PASSION APO 65mm is ideal for those who want to pack light without sacrificing quality. Like all GPO optics, it’s backed by our industry-leading warranty, giving users total confidence in their purchase.”
