The 2-Day Precision Rifle Series (PRS) National Match Regional Qualifier took place March 12 – 13, 2022 at the Cool Acres Sporting Camp in Swainsboro, Georgia.

Comer, Ga. (March 2022) – MasterPiece Arms (MPA), manufacturer of precision Pistol, BA Rifles and Chassis Systems, is proud to announce that its Team MPA shooters claimed eight of the Top 10 Finishes at the 2022 MPA Spring Shootout running their MPA Chassis. Over 120 competitors competed at the MPA Spring Shootout, which was held March 12 – 13, 2022 at Cool Acres Sporting Camp, located in Swainsboro, Georgia. The MPA Spring Shootout is a Precision Rifle Series (PRS) 2-Day National Match Regional Qualifier, and one of three Regional Qualifiers in the Southeast for the 2022 season. The match counted toward PRS Series Points. Full match results and standings can be viewed at https://www.precisionrifleseries.com.
“The MPA Spring Shootout finished up this past weekend and I could not be prouder of our Team MPA Shooters at the match for performing so well despite what Mother Nature threw at them. Competitors running MPA Chassis had eight of the Top 10 Finishes in the match, a clear indication of how well our systems perform during competition. Congrats to all the winners and top place finishers,” commented Phil Cashin, owner of MPA.

“In the game today, you have so many options to choose from. What distinguishes Masterpiece Arms from the rest of the competition is constant innovation. As a result, MPA has an answer for seemingly every situation you come across in competition. This weekend the MPA Matrix Chassis was the perfect answer and it showed. It was an assertive message; I was able to come out on top and the MPA chassis accounted for eight of the top 10 placings,” Morgun King remarked.

Not only is the MPA chassis winning matches, but it was recently confirmed to be the official chassis of the 2022 PRS season for the sixth consecutive year in a row. MPA BA Rifles and Chassis are built by precision rifle shooters, for precision rifle shooters. MPA’s President and Owner, Phil Cashin, is an active PRS shooter. Cashin is always testing out new ideas and tweaks in the matches he competes in and continues to seek out feedback from other world-class shooters. Much of the product innovation and accessories that have been introduced over the past several years have come at the suggestion of fellow competitive shooters.
MPA BA Rifles and Chassis are designed to give shooters a competitive advantage when shooting in long-range tactical rifle competitions, such as the PRS or National Rifle League (NRL). Whether you’re increasing the accuracy capabilities of your existing action, due to the v-bedding system, adding tactical features to your rifle, or building a precision rifle for long-range competitions, MPA’s chassis system is a platform sure to exceed expectations.

On this Thursday we mark the 13th anniversary of the September 11th attacks against the United States and freedom. It was on this day that four hijacked planes crashed in a deadly day of horror, which killed almost 3,000 people and triggered two wars. We will always remember. We will never forget.

On the morning of Saturday, December 13th, my friend John Rawlings and I headed south toward the Washington State Capitol to participate in an event to protest a new gun control law. We arrived early and were able to watch as thousands of people slowly emerged from the fog to gather together on the lawn. The diversity in the crowd was inspiring – old and young, men and women, gay and straight, religious and agnostic, all economic levels, all races, colors and creeds. From people in wheelchairs to children playing in the piles of fallen leaves it truly was a cross-section of people from all walks of life who had come together for a common cause.
