In early 2022 Smith & Wesson introduced the CSX, a micro-compact pistol featuring an aluminum frame. Since its release, the company has since refined the design, implemented upgrades, and added additional features to elevate the platform. The Smith & Wesson CSX E-Series is the next evolution in the CSX lineup.

Although CSX pistols remain aluminum-frame micros, they now feature significant design upgrades that are hard to pass up. They are available in four 9mm configurations; customers can now choose between a 3.1-inch or 3.6-inch barrel, two models that include 12, 15, and 17-round magazines, and two 10-round-compliant variants.
Each CSX also ships with an optics-ready slide, which uses an RMS-C/507K footprint. With this feature incorporated, CSX pistols now include S&W’s trademarked ClearSight cut that’s designed to divert gasses away from the optic lens for a clear, unobstructed view.
Built with versatility in mind, CSX E-Series pistols also incorporate a new modular grip adapter that allows users to size down the frame for concealment or size up for better handling and increased capacity.

CSX E-Series pistols feature an enhanced trigger designed to offer a light, clean break, improved reset, and an overall straighter pull to the rear to assist in accuracy. Additional features include interchangeable backstraps, ambidextrous controls, standard white-dot sights, and a flat black-finished frame.
