Springfield Armory’s Gen 2 Saint Victor launched earlier this year with new features like ambidextrous controls and various other quality of life enhancements. Several variants have since been made available, including a variety of lengths and chambering, like 9mm and .300 BLK, in addition to the standard 5.56.
Add one new flavor to the list: 5.5” PDW. This Saint Victor is designed to deliver rugged performance and an extremely compact package—just over 18 inches at its very shortest.

The PDW is chambered in 9mm and feeds from standard 32-round Colt-pattern magazines, one of which is included. It features the same forged 7075 T6 aluminum receivers as its series, brothers with a short, free-float, M-LOK compatible handguard, and it wears a standard Tungsten Gray Cerakote finish for good looks and high wear resistance.
The Saint Victor PDW is essentially a super-short PCC configuration similar to the Saint Victor pistol variant, with direct-blowback operation. Also classed as a pistol, it comes standard with SB Tactical’s HBPDW stabilizing brace affixed to the rear, one of our favorite pistol braces because of its lightweight, low-profile silhouette, durability and ease of use. The SB brace includes a proprietary buffer system and three-position adjustability for an instantly tailored length according to your use.

The 5.5-inch nitrided CMV barrel is equipped at its business end with Springfield’s Muzzle Drum device that can be removed to reveal ½-28 threads for direct suppressor attachment. The PDW features the standard 45-degree ambi safety selector like other Saint Victors, an NiB-coated trigger, and a B5 Systems pistol grip.
And as with other Saint Victor series firearms, a padded case is included with the purchase of a PDW, with adjustable interior straps and exterior pouches for your magazines, so you can hit the range running… or throw it in the truck and go.
