Fountain Valley, CA—SureFire, LLC, manufacturer of the world’s finest—and most innovative—illumination tools and tactical products, is proud to announce the new SureFire SOCOM-4 series, the world’s finest fighting suppressors, delivering the ideal combination of extreme durability, low-back-pressure performance, and industry-leading flash reduction—wrapped up in a compact SOCOM Fast-Attach® package.
Built entirely from U.S. mill-certified Inconel superalloy, the SOCOM-4 series ensures uncompromising resistance to the brutal heat and erosion of sustained fire, even with short-barreled rifles. Its combination of machined and 3D-printed, aerospace-grade components, and cutting-edge CNC laser welding, guarantees the unmatched structural endurance that SureFire suppressors are known for around the world.
The SOCOM-4’s all-new muzzle design improves flow and significantly reduces flash for superior signature reduction, providing the operator with a meaningful edge in stealth-critical engagements. SureFire’s flash suppression performance is the finest in the industry, from the first round to subsequent rounds, even when the suppressor is hot. The beefed-up muzzle also improves durability against front-end impacts. SOCOM-4 suppressors will keep performing long after others fail.

SureFire’s innovative low-back-pressure design reduces back pressure by a staggering 60% compared to conventional suppressor designs. That means less toxic gas in the shooter’s face, a cleaner-running firearm, less wear and tear on parts, and noticeably better recoil management.
Proudly made in the USA, SOCOM-4 suppressors are optimized for use with SureFire SOCOM open-tine flash hiders and backward compatible with the million plus SureFire SOCOM Fast-Attach® muzzle devices already in the field. They mount via our proven Fast-Attach® system, ensuring lightning-fast and secure attachment and removal with no tools required.
The first models in production will be the SOCOM556-RC4 and SOCOM556-Mini4 with more options to follow. Another critical improvement with the SOCOM-4 series of suppressors is the reduced cost. SureFire has learned numerous lessons from the RC3, combining additive manufacturing with machined components. SureFire has implemented process improvements to increase manufacturing efficiency. MSRP for each listed below.
