TangoDown Inc.—Vickers Tactical Slide Racker for Large-Cal. Glocks
The GSR-05 Slide Racker is TangoDown’s latest addition to its Vickers Tactical lineup.
These rackers have become a popular upgrade for various Glock models, all of them imparting serrated “wings” to the slide butt. This obviously works in tandem with the slide’s rear serrations to enhance manual manipulation, but also allows for easier slide retraction when the pistol is equipped with a red dot optic.
And, as TangoDown points out, for when non-ideal situations arise, like shooting from unconventional positions.
All GSR series parts are constructed from stainless steel and injection molded glass polymer—the same materials as the host firearm.
Relevant dimensions are as follows: overall length: 1.394; width: 0.620; weight: 1.4 oz.
The GSR-05 is made to fit Glocks chambered in .45 ACP or 10mm with a 1.12 slide width. It fits Gen3-5 Glock models 20, 21, 29, 30.
Note that it will not fit Gen5 models 22 or 23, Gen V, or Gen6 pistols.
The GSR-05 is designed to be easily installed in minutes without modification to the host; however, if you are unfamiliar with or uncomfortable modifying your Glock, TangoDown recommends seeking assistance from a Glock Certified Armorer or gunsmith.
