The Parascale™ – CRKT
TJ Schwarz takes on the challenge of designing around Deadbolt®. It’s an incredibly unique feat to design a folding knife with a paracord-wrapped handle, but the Deadbolt® innovation allowed Designer TJ Schwarz to take on the challenge. Unlike a frame lock or liner lock, Deadbolt® only impacts the pivot, making the Parascale™ a highly useful outdoor folding companion.
The Parascale™ features a 3.2” drop point, deep-bellied blade with a satin finish. It’s balanced by a durable glass-reinforced nylon handle wrapped in paracord—an ideal tool to always have on hand in the wilderness. A thumb stud lights it up and the IKBS™ ball bearing pivot system quickens the opening action. It locks into place with Deadbolt® and will stay there—enduring incredible stress and weight—until it’s simply closed with the
prominent button.
It’s built for bushcraft and will have your back in the backcountry.
