RICHMOND, Va. (May 21, 2019) — German Precision Optics (GPO), USA has announced the introduction of a pair of new 56mm-diameter models in its Passion binocular line, an 8×56 and a 10×56. Both binoculars provide exceptional clarity and maximum light transmission, thanks to the proprietary GPObright™ lens coating, a specialized, high-transmission 56 mm objective lens system and an abbe-Koenig internal prism system. With large exit pupils—7mm for the 8×56 and 5.6 for 10×56—and twilight factors exceeding 20, both of these binoculars provide extremely bright images even in the lowest light conditions.
The unique magnesium body of the Passion 8×56 and 10×56 binoculars makes them lightweight, with respect to their size, yet incredibly durable, and the wide field-of-view allows the user to acquire targets quickly from extremely long distances. They are fully waterproof, nitrogen-purged, rubber-armored, feature durable aluminum eyecup tubes and are tripod adaptable.
“We built these binoculars specifically for those users who need the highest transmission, low-light performance binoculars available on the market,” said Michael Jensen, owner/CEO GPO USA. “With 93 percent light transmission these binoculars deliver exactly what they need.”
Like all GPO products, the new Passion 8×56 and 10×56 binoculars are built to the highest standards within their price class, and they are built in the same factories as other European brands. These binoculars come with the unprecedented GPO, USA’s Spectacular Lifetime Warranty™.
Both the Passion 8×56 and 10×56 come standard with a hard case, neoprene strap, hard case strap, objective and ocular covers and cleaning cloth. The suggested retail price for the 8×56 is $749 and the 10×56 is $833. These new binoculars are currently available at GPO dealers nationwide or conveniently online at www.gpo-usa.com.
