Houston, Texas – January 17, 2022 – U.S. LawShield®, industry leader and America’s largest provider of Legal Defense for Self Defense® coverage, protects members from legal fallout if forced to defend themselves. But were you aware they offer additional coverage that protects outdoor enthusiasts? The HunterShield® add-on provides legal protection for unintentional wildlife violations arising from hunting and fishing activities.
“Whether you’re a seasoned hunter or a novice, accidents and mistakes happen,” said P.J. Hermosa, CEO of U.S. LawShield. “Unique to the outdoor industry, HunterShield recognizes the fine print, red tape, and confusion surrounding wildlife laws. Even the most experienced hunters and anglers find themselves at risk of unintentionally breaking the law. Without proper legal defense, a violation could cost you more than just time and money. It could cost your rights to ever hunt and fish again.”
According to Tim Woods, U.S. LawShield National Director of Sales, “Outdoor enthusiasts who hunt and fish are essential to wildlife conservation, and when the laws are constantly changing, they need their questions answered by experts. We can help protect our lands and preserve our natural resources with quality education and tenacious legal defense for responsible sportsmen and women.”
HunterShield supplements U.S. LawShield Legal Defense for Self Defense coverage. The add-on protection features the largest network of Independent Program Attorneys knowledgeable about ever-changing wildlife laws across the U.S. “You preserve our lands, we preserve your rights,” said Woods.
The U.S. LawShield core plan covers the following:
Additional U.S. LawShield add-ons provide the following coverages:

Since 2009, the mission of U.S. LawShield remains unchanged. We believe in Preserving Freedom for Good® by educating our 700,000+ members and 6,000+ industry 2A Partners in self-defense law; empowering them to handle critical, life-threatening situations with confidence; protecting them from potential injustices in the legal system after acts of self-defense; and challenging the status quo regarding the affordability of legal defense. Almost all of us in the tactical field drool over the latest gear and accessories for everything from weapons to clothing, and many of us are self-proclaimed pack-junkies quick to snatch up the latest in rucksack and tactical bag options (although whether or not we actually have anything to put in that bag yet can sometimes be irrelevant.) While we typically pay careful consideration to the pockets, load capacity, weatherproofing and any number of features that a pack may boast, we inevitably end up slapping on 100 MPH tape, bungees, paracord, zip-ties and even rubber bands to get our load-out right where we want it. One challenge that is often difficult to overcome, however, is a lack of anchor points. D-rings and webbing occasionally fit the need of securing gear that can’t be thrown in a bag or need to be readily accessible, but there just never seems to be enough of them to go around.

Prepping is about the long term, not a bag packed for 3 days. It is a placebo, false hope and a tangible thing to say you’ve started prepping.
