From rimfire to muzzleloader, straight-wall to scout, the new Crossfire HD line of riflescopes is built for how you hunt or shoot, with application-specific models to fit just about any use case.
Offering the perfect balance between simplicity and performance at price points that can hardly be beat, this new generation is the perfect choice for hunters and shooters looking for great features and a durable, user-friendly design.
Anecdotally, our experience with a Vortex Crossfire came when it was time to upgrade from a red dot to magnified glass to expand our range use. We’d been looking to switch on the cheap to a brand-unknown hand-me-down scope, but it turned out the windage adjustment on that unit had ceased to function… and we already had a cantilever mount for a 1-inch tube.
A Crossfire II 2-7×32, on sale at Optics Planet for around 150 bucks, filled the bill nicely. It had all the features we needed, and at that price it almost cost less than the cantilever.
Fast forward to today, and the Crossfire line has now been handed a significant upgrade. The first thing you’ll notice looking through a new Crossfire HD riflescope is the clarity of the HD glass. Offering greater light transmission and enhanced resolution, HD glass is most helpful in low light.

To make that glass even more powerful, many of the new Crossfire HD riflescopes are now available with illuminated reticles for greater accuracy and contrast in low-light conditions.
These scopes are designed to offer the features you need at a price that’s hard to beat, now with HD glass for superior clarity and light transmission, outstanding color fidelity, and edge-to-edge sharpness.
Lenses are fully multi-coated for anti-reflective properties. The fast-focus eyepiece allows for quick reticle focusing, and certain models feature illuminated reticles for precise aiming in low-light conditions.
Each is constructed from a solid block of aircraft-grade illumination and black anodized for a corrosion-resistant, low-glare matte surface. Crossfire riflescopes are waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof.
To help Crossfire HD better fit your hunt, there are now side parallax options on select models for easy adjustments in the field. Need faster magnification control? Add the new 44mm Throw Lever, which fits all Crossfire HD riflescopes except the Scout model.
The following models make up the Crossfire HD product line, available in a range of magnifications, reticle options and objective lens diameters.
