This truly is the best time to be a precision rimfire enthusiast, the ammunition, optics and of course the rifles have never been better. This now includes taking things to the Magnum, that is 22WMR and 17HMR offerings from Vudoo Gun Works.
The V22M is the big brother to the amazing V22 which is chambered in either .22 lr or .17 Mach2. Of course the M stands for Magnum, and while the new calibers are impressive on their own, the new receiver also packs new Gen 2 technology with it.
The V22M is a high performance precision rimfire action in every sense, it is hard to believe how things could be better. By adding a new articulated bolt release, new anti-rotation bolt head, and a new multi-piece bolt that improves on concentricity. Vudoo.
Vudoo Gun Works’ Mike Bush recently published a video (scroll down to view) talking about the new magnum offering as well as the new awarded patents showcasing this technology in detail. I can truly say I found this information fascinating.
Whether it be the serious enthusiast, rimfire precision rifle competitor, or just one who truly wants the best, the V22 have been dominating the rimfire scene. If that wasn’t enough, also available are aluminum versions of the patented AICS external dimensioned magazine available in 5, 10, 12 and 15 round options.
It truly is the best time to be a precision rimfire shooter!

January 15th, 2019 –St George, UT – Vudoo Gun Works, leader in rimfire precision rifles, is proud to announce the addition of the V22M action to their product lineup. Vudoo Gun Works is now offering complete builds chambered in 22 Magnum and 17 HMR.
The V22M brings longer bolt travel to accommodate the length of 22WMR and 17HMR cartridges. This added length provided the opportunity to design a new articulated bolt release that transfers the force of bolt actuations to a plunger hidden under the scope mount. The V22M also brings added consistency with a new anti-rotation bolt head, a redesigned multi-piece bolt assembly, and our own unique 7075 machined Aluminum AICS style magazines available in five and ten shot capacities.
The new V22M bolt assembly is similar to its predecessor but offers toolless disassembly and maintenance by way of a unique bayonet style locking system between the shroud, bolt body, and bolt front. In addition, the fire control system has also been refined to eliminate drag and therefore, provide more consistent and reliable ignition.

Based in St George Utah, Vudoo Gun Works has been redefining rimfire since bringing the V22 to market in 2017. The Vudoo Gun Works (VGW) V-22 is a patented rimfire repeater action, that matches the physical footprint of the short action Remington 700. This form factor has created an extremely precise, “true-to-scale” precision rifle, that has forever changed the landscape of rimfire competition. Since inception, Vudoo Gun Works has been at the forefront of precision rimfire research and continues to innovate the future of a rapidly changing industry.
