EAST ALTON, IL (January 19, 2022) – Winchester introduces Super Pheasant Diamond Grade shotshell ammunition. Super Pheasant Diamond Grade brings 8% antimony, copper-plated shot to the upland fields in a 5-shot configuration to connect with authority on tough roosters. Initial offerings include 2-3/4 inch for 12 and 20-gauge as well as a hard hitting 3-inch 12-gauge load.
A key differentiator in this shotshell is the Diamond Grade Shot. The 8% antimony (hardening alloy) is four times more antimony than standard target loads, resulting in the hardest copper-plated shot available to target shooters. The shot is also precision sorted, meaning only the roundest shot is used. This results in tighter patterns and more downrange energy whether shooting clay targets or now, fast-flying pheasants.
Winchester Diamond Grade, first introduced to the sporting clay world in 2020, offers the hardest shot available for the ultimate in performance.

In this Tactical Moment episode John discusses “stoppages.” A stoppage is a momentary cessation of the firearm. When you pull the trigger and hear a click instead of a bang, then you know something is wrong. Applying “immediate action” could be the fastest way to fix the problem and get back in the gunfight. Watch this video to learn how to manage a firearms stoppage by applying the immediate action technique.
