TangoDown Inc. has announced the latest addition to its Vickers Tactical lineup, a long-awaited slide stop upgrade for Glock Gen 5 .45 and 10mm caliber pistols. Having difficulty executing fast reloads with your OEM slide stop, or do you have an “extended” style slide stop locking the slide back prematurely?
The VTSS-003 Gen 5 Ambidextrous Slide Stop was developed through extensive real-world testing, which culminated in a shape that enables positive slide lock and release in all working conditions—especially, they say, while wearing gloves. Precision-stamped and formed from 4130 chrome-moly steel, the Vickers Tactical ambi slide stop is then heat-treated to bring it to a standard to the OEM part and completed with a durable hard-coat finish to enable years of service.

Further features include an enhanced, re-shaped thumb pad with deep serrations that enable positive engagement and easy manipulation, even when equipped with the aforementioned gloves. Fitment includes all Glock Gen 5 .45 and 10mm pistols released to date: G20, 21, 29, and 30.
Overall length of the unit is 1.64 inches, weight is 0.8 ounces. Each is made in the USA. We should note that employing a Certified Glock Armorer or professional gunsmith for installation or is highly recommended.
