According to the company, Magpul’s original 30-round TMAG 30 (translucent polymer magazine) changes the mag game for a variety of reasons. Magpul has also now also released a shorter, 20-round version to provide shooters with a more compact form factor.

This compactness makes it perfect for use with bipods, or for those who simply want to be more mobile using a smaller, more discreet weapon system firing 5.56 NATO or .223 Rem. cartridges.
Essentially, the TMAG 20 AR/M4 GEN M3 is a more compact translucent magazine that still gives users the same round-identification ability with minimal bulk and weight. It features front and rear ribbed straps for better purchase during magazine changes in all conditions.

Like Magpul’s GEN 3 family of magazines, the TMAG 20 incorporates similar internal geometry, Magpul’s standard four-way, anti-tilt follower that’s paired with a durable stainless-steel spring for unmatched reliability.
It also features a paint-pen dot matrix for custom markings as necessary, and a low-profile floor plate that’s compatible with PMAG AR/M4 GEN M3 floor-plate accessories.
A standard 30-round version is also now available.
