Las Vegas, Nev. (February 2022) – Walk The Talk America (WTTA), a non-profit organization designed to bridge the gap between the firearms industry and owners and the mental health industry, is honored to have received a generous donation of $10K from one of America’s leading firearms distributors, Lipsey’s®, for the second consecutive year.
“Lipsey’s has been a partner with Walk the Talk America from the beginning,” Laurie Aronson, Chairwoman and CEO of Lipsey’s, commented. “Their organization continues to make positive strides toward closing the gap when it comes to addressing mental health and firearms and we are happy to renew our support of this very worthy cause.”
“We are very thankful to have the continued support of Lipsey’s,” Michael Sodini, WTTA founder, added. “With every donation, WTTA can provide more tools and resources like training instruction, online and downloadable information for individuals, companies, and retailers. It is our goal to bring together not only the firearms industry and mental health resources but to make them available to all firearms owners. When large distributors like Lipsey’s step up to the plate like this it helps support our common mission to end gun violence and gun suicide.”
For over four years, WTTA has spearheaded a movement within the firearms industry to bridge the gap between mental health and responsible firearm ownership to reduce suicide by firearm and gun violence. Through educational programs, podcasts, and training programs, WTTA is paving the way of educating mental health professionals about the gun culture and breaking down the negative stigmas around mental health for gun owners.
Lipsey’s was founded in 1953 as a wholesale hunting and fishing distributor. Since then, Lipsey’s has remained dedicated to providing customers with superior service and attention and today is one of the largest independently owned, single location shooting sports distributors in the US.

With Aero Precision being in my back yard, it made sense to take a trip down to see their facility and how they manufacturer their products from start to finish. You wouldn’t believe how inconspicuous the AERO facility is. When you arrive, you have to do a double take because the building is nestled into a small industrial complex in Tacoma, WA.
