After 25 years, you might say Magpul knows a thing or two about producing polymer firearm accessories. The latest subject of the company’s expertise is the SIG Sauer P320 pistol lineup. The EHG SG9 grip is designed to function with OEM trigger modules, OEM 17-round magazines and base plates, and various other integrated small components and accessories.
The grip module or frame features an integral “carry-sized” magwell flare and includes a Picatinny rail at the forward end for mounting lights and lasers. The EHG SG9 also integrates ¾-scale TSP texturing to provide secure grip in both dry and wet conditions. For additional firearm retention, a lanyard slot is included at the bottom of the frame’s backstrap.
Each EHG SG9 ships with Magpul’s proprietary magazine release (SG9 Enhanced) already installed, a steel QPQ-finished unit that is reversible for right- or left-handed shooters. The release features a contoured surface with custom jimping to ensure positive engagement with the shooter’s finger during magazine changes.
Available separately, the enhanced mag release is also compatible with standard grip frames from SIG Sauer, SIG X-Series, and Wilson Combat. It’s easily installed, reversed or uninstalled using common tools.
The EHG SG9 grip is available for SIG P320 full-size and compact models spec’d either with or without a manual safety. It is available in black or FDE. Each measures approximately 1.25 inches wide and weighs a little over 4 ounces.
The frame is compatible with holsters from a variety of manufacturers including Safariland, Bladetech, Raven Concealment and Blackhawk, as well as weapon lights from SureFire, Streamlight and LMD.
