Rare Breed and B&T USA Announce FRT Collaboration for SPC9, GHM9

Rare Breed Triggers and B&T USA have announced a strategic partnership to integrate the patented Rare Breed FRT-SG3 forced-reset trigger into B&T’s SPC9 and GHM9 PCC platforms. This collaboration is the first of its kind for both manufacturers—one a pioneer and continued leader in FRT technology, the other a noted designer and manufacturer of duty-grade weapon systems and suppressors.

Select SPC9 and GHM9 firearms equipped with Rare Breed’s FRT-SG3 forced-reset trigger will be assembled and tested on B&T USA’s in-house production line, giving users an integrated-FRT firearm that’s verified for functionality and reliability before it ever leaves the facility.

Uniting two brands known for precise engineering and technical trailblazing in their respective fields, the collaboration reflects a shared focus between the two on manufacturing consistency, quality control, and product integration.

Working closely together during the design, production, and testing phases of manufacture, the two companies aim to ensure the firearms and their installed trigger systems deliver the advanced performance adopters of this technology demand.

The FRT-SG3 trigger offer’s Rare Breed’s three-position functionality with Safe, Semi, and Forced Reset modes controlled by an ambidextrous safety selector. This system is offered as an ideal solution for shooters seeking speed and accuracy.

By mechanically resetting the trigger after each shot and locking it from being pulled until the bolt carrier group returns to battery, the system allows for faster follow-up shots without requiring advanced techniques.
