Sphinx is proud to announce that it will begin distribution of the Sphinx SDP Compact 9mm starting 1st quarter of 2013 in the United States. The highly anticipated pistol is the evolution of the popular Sphinx pistols and designed specifically for law enforcement and military personnel. The new Sphinx SDP Compact brings the high performance features of the SDP series into a smaller, more concealable package. The slide of every SDP Compact is CNC machined from high-grade steel and hand-fitted to each frame. Its full length, machined guide rails and recoil buffer ensure consistent accuracy for the most demanding users.
The unique frame design consists of two parts: an upper frame that is made from aeronautic grade aluminum with Teflon inserts and a lower frame from a specially formulated polymer that is resistant to extreme temperatures and corrosion. Its multi-slot Picatinny rail accommodates a variety of tactical lights and lasers. The SDP Compact features 3 interchangeable back straps to accommodate various hand sizes and an ambidextrous decocking lever.
The Sphinx SDP Compact will be configured with standard front and rear iron sights.
The list price will be $1295.00
Sphinx will also distribute the SDP Compact 9mm Kryptonight Edition. Featuring a special finish, the pistol will include the patented Defiance H.A.L.O. (H3 Adaptive Luminescent Optic) green sights. The new Defiance sights are designed and optimized for day and nighttime operations, with combined patented fiber optic and tritium technology to enhance target acquisition. A 17-round magazine will also be included. Pricing and availability to be announced soon.

We all face challenges to varying degrees in our daily lives. Some people face more unique challenges than others. Two people in particular, both having served in our U.S. Military as EOD Techs, were injured in combat and sustained life changing injuries. Mary Dague lost her arms. Brad Lang lost his legs. They both face some very unique challenges every day.
