You know about SIG Sauer firearms and optics like the Romeo series red dots—but did you know SIG also does binos?
Backed by a lifetime guarantee, SIG binoculars from SIG Sauer Electro-Optics are designed to give you the ultimate viewing experience. Now redesigned from the ground up, SIG Sauer Zulu series binoculars are ready to “take on anything the mountain throws your way,” according to the company.
Whether you’re picking bucks out of shaded beds or gridding timbered draws at dusk, SIG Sauer’s HDX glass lenses are designed to provide and clear and immersive viewing experience that helps you maximize your time in the field. The combination of high-definition and high-transmittance glass aided by a highly reflective roof prism design provides unmatched clarity and brightness, allowing you to see every precise detail. With the help of SIG’s proprietary LensArmor, LenShield, and SpectraCoat technologies, the image generated through the best-in-class Abbe Koenig prism is incredibly sharp from dawn to dusk.
Let’s start with the Zulu10 HDX. This flagship model is specifically engineered to exceed the demands of the world’s most elite hunters.
Available in 10x42mm, 10x50mm, 12x50mm, and 15x56mm prescriptions, the Zulu10 HDX combines high-definition, high-transmittance glass lenses for ultra-high image resolution and optimal light transmission. Their rugged metal chassis and an updated rubberized armoring provide rugged durability while maintaining stellar in-hand comfort.
The Zulu8 HDX takes what’s great about the Zulu10 and puts it in a more compact form factor. Available in 10x42mm, 10x50mm and 12x50mm prescriptions, the Zulu8 HDX is engineered to provide an optimal balance of power, light transmission, and field of view.
Next we have the Zulu6 HDX binos, designed as the apex of stability and clarity. According to SIG, they were designed to create a new paradigm in hand-held glassing solutions by using SIG’s propreitary Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) technology and HDX lenses to deliver a full-resolution image without a tripod.
Two OIS modes are available: Scan Mode, which is designed specifically for scanning and gridding terrain, and Target Mode, which is specifically for locking in on wild game and targets. Target Mode increases stability by up to 50% to allow you to successfully identify a target located in Scan Mode.
Finally we have the SIG Sauer Canyon HDs—not of the Zulu series, but perhaps the perfect set to get your feet wet if you’re new to the SIG binocular market. They are engineered to pack a range of critical features in the popular 10×42 design (12×50 also available).
Like their Zulu brethren, the Canyon HDs feature fully multi-coated HD lenses for bright, high-def imaging even in low-light conditions. Three-position adjustable eye cups make fine-tuning comfort easy, and a threaded insert allows you to mount the binos on a tripod or window mount for increased stability. They feature a closed-bridge design, improved rubber armor, and an enhanced rubber over-mold on the focus dial.
Regardless of which you choose, all SIG Electro-Optics HD binoculars are rated for IPX7 waterproof and fog-proof performance and backed by SIG Sauer’s Infinite Guarantee.
