Warhorse is Swampfox Optics’ new premier first focal plane (FFP) low power variable optic (LPVO). It was meticulously developed and extensively tested to combine the speed, precision and versatility demanded by the modern rifleman, and the company regards it as the next evolution for the company’s riflescopes.
Designed for smooth transitions from 1 to 6x magnification, Warhorse is designed to excel at rapid target acquisition and long-range precision shooting. It features a 34mm tube diameter, 24mm objective lens and parallax setting of 100 yards for an expansive field of view at varying distances, as well as consistent eye relief across the entire magnification range. High-quality, multi-coated, anti-fog and hydrophobic lenses deliver superior optical clarity.
Warhorse is equipped with a push/pull locking elevation turret with zero reset and a capped windage turret, offering secure and precise 0.25 MOA/0.1 MIL adjustments. A 12-position illumination turret with intermittent on and off settings is powered by a side-mounted CR2032 battery for lasting performance. Shooters can choose between MOA or MIL glass-etched illuminated reticle options and take advantage of night-vision-compatible, low-light and daylight brightness settings.
Additionally, Warhorse’s robust construction and IPX7 waterproof rating ensure reliability in the face of heavy recoil, accidental drops and all-weather conditions. Each scope is backed by Swampfox’s limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing and material defects along with 10-year coverage on the LED. Further variants to include 1-8x and 1-10x are planned for release at a later date.
