RD Tactical proudly bills itself as a “toolmaker for clandestine missions.” We’d have to agree after getting a good look at the Paratus® – P762 Gen2. The Paratus was developed specifically for a Clandestine Break-Down Rifle (CSR) request listed on an open announcement by Joint & Special Operations Program (JSOP). Paratus Gen-2 is a quick break-down Semi-Automatic Rifle chambered in 7.62 NATO, which can be assembled in less than one minute without the use of any tools.
Paratus is a new Patent Pending design, which offers some very special features including a Magpul folding stock and a quick change barrel. Even better, it all fits in a small hard case (18″x14″x7″), back pack, or Diplomatic Attache case.

If you’ve ever taken professional firearms training or sought out a trainer you want to receive training from, then you probably know that it can sometimes be a challenge to research and select a provider you want to trust. Sometimes it can be difficult to decipher the reality of training versus a guy you may have seen on YouTube pushing the newest fad in firearms. The quantity of “knowledge” one can obtain these days can certainly be overwhelming at times. This is why it is so important to take the necessary time to seek out qualified trainers with solid reputations and truthful, applicable backgrounds.
