Midwest Industries has released a line of two-piece free-float m-lok handguards for AR platforms. Each handguard in the collection can clamp directly onto a standard GI barrel nut (not included), enabling shooters to upgrade their rifle without full disassembly or removing the front sight post. Generous m-lok slots allow for a wide variety of attachments and accessories. Three lengths are available:
• MI-20XM–Extended: 9.5-inch handguard designed for carbine-length gas systems
• MI-20XXM–Full-Length: 12.625-inch handguard designed for carbine-length gas systems
• MI-21XM–Mid-Length: 11.5-inch handguard designed for mid-length gas systems
“Upgrading a handguard has never been simpler,” says Midwest Industries founder Troy Storch. “These handguards are rugged, modular, and easy to install, making them the last word in modernizing the classic carbine.”
The guards incorporate a Monolithic continuous top rail, five anti-rotation QD sockets for push-button swivels, and hardcoat-anodized 6061 aluminum construction. Additionally, they are designed to extends past the front sight tower to allow additional space for mounting accessories. MI-20XM (9.5-inch) pictured.
