November 27, 2018 – Chesapeake, Virginia, USA – KRISS USA is now shipping the Vector SDP Enhanced, a new pistol arm brace model, to distributors and direct dealers across the United States.
The new KRISS® Vector SDP Enhanced features a threaded 6.5” barrel, surrounded by a modular hand guard. Additionally this model sports an SB Tactical SBA3 pistol stabilizing arm brace, which is adjustable to 5 positions. The arm brace is matted to the new KRISS® Vector Ambidextrous Folding Adaptor, configurable to fold either left or right. Standard features on the KRISS® Vector SDP Enhanced include the Super V Recoil Mitigation system, which redirects recoil energy down to counterbalance the firearm’s natural tendency to rise when fired. DEFIANCE® low profile front and rear flip sights are featured atop the continuous upper receiver rail. Included with the firearm is a standard factory Glock® magazine.
The KRISS® Vector SDP Enhanced is available for immediate delivery in 9mm and .45ACP, with 10mm scheduled for December 2018, and .40S&W targeted for 2019. Available colors include Black, Flat Dark Earth, OD Green, Combat Grey, and Alpine white. MSRP starting at $1,699.00.

Up until about a year ago, I exclusively used a Derlin action block much like the one seen here. Derlin blocks are useful but introduce other issues such as setup time, lining up pins, torque flex, etc. I often found the need to apply more than mil-spec torque to the barrel nut when installing a barrel and could visually see the upper flexing.
