Melville, NY (July 2019) – Nikon is excited to announce that two all-new PROSTAFF laser rangefinders are headed to retailers near you. PROSTAFF 1000 and PROSTAFF 1000i both put a solid 1,000-yard maximum ranging capability into your hand, together with compact ergonomics that will fit your pocket.
Whether in the stand or the backcountry, these feature-rich, compact laser rangefinders are sure to impress at an unbeatable price.
Each of Nikon’s new PROSTAFF laser rangefinders offers a multilayer-coated 6x high-quality monocular for bright, clear viewing. Both models also feature one-push, 8-second continuous measurement and are equipped with Tru-Target Priority which gives users the ability to select between First Target Priority Mode or Distant Target Priority Mode, enabling easy ranging of an object or animal in front of or behind another obstacle.
With Nikon’s ID (Incline/Decline) Technology built in, the PROSTAFF 1000i Laser Rangefinder offers a Horizontal Distance / Actual Distance display mode that can be easily switched depending on your preference. Providing angle-adjusted readings – for angles +/- 89°(nearly vertical up or down) – the PROSTAFF 1000i takes the guesswork out of the shooting equation for quick, precise ranging.
PROSTAFF 1000 and PROSTAFF 1000i both make ranging capabilities on non-reflective targets out to 600 yards a reality.
With Suggested Retail Prices of $169.95 for the PROSTAFF 1000 and $199.95 for the PROSTAFF 1000i with slope, these new models offer weather resistant/rainproof (IPX4-equivalent rated) performance even in inclement conditions. All new PROSTAFF models are also backed by Nikon’s exclusive 5 Year Warranty.
